Volunteer

The Hopkinton Youth Sports Association is a volunteer organization whose mission is to provide sports for the youth of Hopkinton and Contoocook in an atmosphere that is positive, instructional, and fun. All of the work needed for HYSA to fulfill its mission is carried out by dedicated volunteers.

Without the efforts of volunteers, HYSA would not be successful.

There are many ways to get involved! Please consider the volunteer activities below, and what they involve. Thank you in advance for your efforts in ensuring HYSA’s continued success in offering a positive and successful sporting experience for your children!

The HYSA Board is currently looking for interested community members to volunteer their time in the following ways:

Involves coordinating the team and teaching the fundamentals of the sport during practices and games. Training is provided prior to the season for new coaches. In addition, there are training videos and other resources available for use.

Assistant Coach

Team Parent
Assists the coaches with duties such as uniform distribution and collection, coordinating other team parent volunteers, telephone calls, coordinating team pictures, etc.

Coaching for HYSA is infinitely fulfilling and rewarding on many levels! I have had the pleasure of coaching basketball (boys & girls), baseball, and softball over the past 5 years and look forward to coaching more.
